Testimonial

Today we were delighted to receive a testimonial from a recent client who was represented at Westminster Magistrates’ Court by our own in-house barrister, Kathleen Mulhern.

Mr R wrote an effusive letter to Ms Mulhern, thanking her for her assistance and including the following:

‘It was an honour to be represented by you in court. I normally don’t get on with solicitors [but] that was not the case with you... You represented me really well, you were helpful.’

He also said that he found Ms Mulhern easy to talk to and highly dedicated to his case.

We know that we always strive to represent our clients to the very highest standards and it is encouraging to receive confirmation like this!

London Legal Walk 2016

On Monday, Wainwright & Cummins were delighted to participate again in the London Legal Walk, as we have been every year since 2011. This is a 10km charity walk through central and legal London, to raise money for free legal advice charities across London and the South-East. Thousands of walkers completed the whole 10km, with our team managing it in around two and a half hours.

Our team was considerably larger than last year, with an impressive eleven participants (up from five last year): partners Jonathan Cummins and Danny Lyness, along with Grace Bovill, Rozi Brown, Charlotte Image, Maddy Lambros, Aliyah Ali, Richard Reilly, Lottie Baldwin, Wunmi Adenekan, and Ed Atkinson. All sported their very attractive Wainwright & Cummins t-shirts, as can be seen in our ‘team picture’ below.

After the walk the team enjoyed a well-deserved drink in the Law Society on Chancery Lane, before joining in with the street party in nearby Carey Street and Bell Yard. We always enjoy the Legal Walk and look forward to participating again next year and raising even more for this excellent cause. Our fundraising page is still open and any donation is appreciated!
