Housing Paralegal/Caseworker
Wainwright & Cummins LLP are looking for a housing paralegal/caseworker to join their expanding team.
The role of the Paralegal will be to assist fee earners within the Housing team, who specialise in possession cases, unlawful eviction, anti social behaviour matters, disrepair, homelessness and judicial reviews. The paralegal will be expected to have the ability to run a busy case load whilst enjoying the opportunity of working on a variety of different cases.
The successful candidate will be expected to be enthusiastic, hard working, flexible and able to produce excellent written work. They will also be expected to establish relationships with a range of clients and have a passion for growing the department.
Previous experience and good knowledge of legal aid funding and billing is advantageous.
The role is with a view to a training contract after one year if performance meets expectation.
There is also the opportunity to gain experience in family law if desired.

Salary: £17,500 per annum – negotiable on experience
Working hours: 9.30am – 6pm Mon – Fri
